But, no, no way to get trouble codes on a '96 without a tool, except to go to AutoZone(yeah, I know it don't run). Sounds like the fuel injectors are shot. With that much age it my mechanic says that they need changed. We're fighting the same thing with my wife's '97 Grand Am. Good luck! Tiger Bob.

That way if you ever have an OS problem and have to reload it, you still have your data.
